Who am I?
Throughout most of my life I have been that friend and coworker others have come to for insight, guidance, and an empathetic ear.
It wasn’t too surprising, really, that I became a therapist.
Before psychology got my attention, I spent 20+ years in the corporate world in marketing and communications, across three industries: retail, healthcare, and energy.
I got to work with super creative teams and good people.
But I also got to know firsthand the challenges with what work seems to have become today.
The burnout, anxiety, pressure, stress, fear of change, toxic environments, leadership challenges, and the struggle to perform in spite of it all.
This makes me a bit unique as a therapist because I’ve experienced what many of my clients are dealing with at work.
I get “how work is.”
And I know you can find ways to cope with your stress and challenges at work.
Better, you can find ways to spark positive change and move forward. You may just need to find a different perspective.
I love sharing ways to help you make that happen and working with you to find a new path!
In other news, I’m a native Texan, a former figure skater, a rabid Yankees fan and a busting-out-proud mom of a 20-year-old son. 🙂
